In Loving Memory of Janice Clark
“Always remember to slow down in life; live, breathe, and learn; take a look around you whenever you have time and never forget everything and every person that has the least place within your heart.”

The Clark Family
On November 26th, 2009 (Thanksgiving afternoon) Currents Magazine lost a huge part of our close knit family. Janice Webber Clark was our faithful Graphic Artist for over a decade, a family friend, a loving wife and daughter, and a mother of two young daughters named Zoe (age3) and Jetta (age 1). Janice lost her life after a very short battle with inflammatory breast cancer.
Janice Clark is mostly responsible for creating the beautiful ads for our loyal advertisers, the stories our readers like so much, and the “family feel” that we always strive to preserve in our family run publication Currents Magazine .

Zoe Clark
We’ve worked intimately with Janice for over 10 years but shared a very unique relationship with her. Janice and her family live in Claremore, Oklahoma and we’ve worked remotely for all of these years. We communicated through long distance phone calls primarily, but our relationship evolved and sped up over the years as we moved from snail mail and Fed Ex packages, to fax, then dial-up internet and email, to high speed connections and their super-fast efficiencies.
All along our journey, we’ve always treated Janice as part of my immediate family. She was one of the most wonderful, caring, and hard-working people I’ve ever met. Janice never complained about the work load and was there with us every step of the way as Currents grew from a local coupon guide, to the largest, most recognized magazine in our area.

Jetta Clark
We ask you to support us in our effort to provide for Janice’s family during this difficult time. Her aggressive form of breast cancer was undiagnosed until it was too late and her passing leaves her family in a very difficult position both emotionally and monetarily.
If you are interested in donating to Janice Webber Clark on behalf of her young daughters, please do so by visiting her blog at www.JaniceClark.info or by visiting www.CurrentsNJ.com/janice. All donations are 100% tax deductible .
You can find our email address below along with the address for the Clark Family. You can send your donations there or email us with any questions you may have.
We appreciate your support.
Peder and Karl Hagberg and the entire family at Currents.
